Wholefoods Meets Costco?

Hi Skinnies!

Today I want to talk about a company I have come across that I personally think the concept is a bit of a marvel…to say the least.  Its a company that is socially conscious and falls right in line with the things I believe!  I am a frequent shopper of stores such as Trader Joe’s and Wholefoods, I go there pretty much weekly!  I used to live three minutes from a Wholefoods and my skin care practice was just a minute away and so I was there literally EVERYDAY!

I have since moved and now its about 15 -20 minutes away so I really have to need something specific to go there, I know that sounds crazy but it is what it is.  I am closer now to a Trader Joe’s so you will find me there OFTEN, so much so that we know the employees like they are good ole’ friends.  Anyway the point is I love to eat and shop in health conscious stores, so when I found out about Thrive Market I was extremely curious because their model is (in my own words) DOOR2DOOR Wellness AND it’s pretty much wholesale prices…delivered to YOUR DOOR!  So see even when I don’t want to make the trip to Wholefoods I can just order my items through Thrive Market and have it sent to my door…no 15-20 minute drive…AH-MAY-ZING!!

So What is Thrive  Market All About?

Thrive Market is the first socially conscious online marketplace
offering the world’s best-selling natural and organic products at
wholesale prices. Think Costco meets Whole Foods online.
For less than $5 a month ($59.95 annually), members can shop

and beauty products from more than 400 of the best brands on the

Dr. Bronner’s, Spectrum Naturals, Garden of Eatin’, Bob’s Red Mill,

Generation, Garden of Life, Jason Naturals and many more of the
highest-quality premium brands and products to everyone at 25-50% below retail prices.

If that wasn’t enough to get you pumped, guess what else they do?  They GIVE BACK to the community!!

This is how Thrive Market Give Back to the community

Expanding access to healthy living isn’t just a business model — at
Thrive Market, it’s a mission. Through the company’s Thrive Gives
initiative, a unique take on one-to-one giving, every paid membership is matched with a free membership for a low-income American family.

Thanks to Thrive Gives, thousands of Americans who otherwise
wouldn’t be able to afford healthy and natural products will have easy access to similarly or lower-priced alternatives to highly processed and artificial products found at traditional supermarkets.

I will be posting a lot more about this company in some upcoming posts because I want to share with you my membership experience!  I LOVE to eat Paleo style and they have a lot of Paleo options, along with Vegan food options and natural skin & hair care products!
